Blog Explained!
Hi! Welcome to my blog! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This blog is intended to record my weekly discoveries, musings, and personal testimonies as i search and study the keystone of our religion – the Book of Mormon.
Why weekly? I just enrolled in the Institute Class and the class is scheduled every Wednesday at 7:20-9:00pm at the Quezon City Philippine Institute of Religion (QCPIR). Hopefully, I will have time after class to blog about my experiences and new-found wisdom.
I am excited to learn! It has long been a desire. Finally i turned this desire into action. (“Faith without works is dead” – James 2:17) My goal is to obtain a deeper testimony of the BoM as i build a stronger belief in the truthfulness of the Gospel. I just don’t want to have the wrong reasons for staying in the Church. I love the Church. My entire family is there. But to fully realize my worth to Heavenly Father, i know i have to work on my testimony more.. for my own salvation, and perhaps for others too, if i can affect other people on my journey. With this purpose in mind, i pray that I will have the same – or even more – yearning as each week passes. One semester is all it takes! And hopefully more to come.
Oh btw, this is a journal of my personal feelings toward the teachings in the Book of Mormon. It is not in any way affiliated with the Official LDS Website or the LDS Church.
